ABOUT Daughters of Divine Destiny, LLC.

ABOUT Tatanya Aker

My Mission Statement:  “To use my God given gifts to train an army of worshippers to utilize dance and pageantry

in lifting up the name of Jesus in order to lead the lost to Christ and bring glory to God.”

Tatanya Aker heard God’s call to minister in dance in July 2001.  She began her liturgical dance career at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross, Georgia (where Dr. William L. Sheals is pastor) as a member of the Hallelujah Dance Ministry.  During her 5 years with Hopewell’s dance ministry, she served as Vice-President of the ministry for 1 year and President for 3 ½ years. During this time, she oversaw the spiritual and technical growth of upwards of 100 dancers from ages 3 years old and up as well as handled the daily functioning of the dance ministry.  She also functioned as one of the choreographers for the women’s and pageantry ministries.  In 2003, she co-founded Pageantry of Praise, the pageantry subgroup of the Hallelujah Dance Ministry.  It is at Hopewell that her love for pageantry was cultivated and her destiny as a pageantry trainer and praise instrument designer began.  In October 2005, in God’s divine order, she formed Daughters of Divine Destiny, LLC with fellow pageantry members.

Tatanya has received dance and pageantry training under the tutelage of several well known liturgical dance leaders including: Apostle Veronica Smith, Enhancement Dance Ministries and the Christian Dance Fellowship (CDF) USA East Coast Director; Dr. Pamela Rutherford Hardy, National Network Coordinator for Christian Dance Fellowship USA; and Rev. Eyesha Marable, founder of National Liturgical Dance Network to name a few. She has also received dance training from renowned dance instructor, TerrieAgile”Maxim, of Total Dancical Studios in Atlanta, Georgia and leader of the Tribe of Judah Dance Ministry.  Tatanya is currently a member of the National Liturgical Dance Network as well as the Georgia Liturgical Dance Network.  She currently ministers in dance with the Tribe of Judah Dance Ministry at Word of Faith Family Cathedral in Austell, Georgia where Bishop Dale C. Bronner is pastor.
